Daily View is a Bath-based prototype designed to help older people with memory issues stay more confident and independent at home.
It provides a calm, always-visible screen showing the day, date, time, upcoming events, visits, reminders and important messages.
The aim is to give the person a reliable daily reference point while helping reduce repeated reassurance questions for family members and carers.

Daily View is a simple daily reference screen for older people with memory difficulties. It shows what is happening today in a clear, calm way so the person can stay more oriented at home.
Longer description
Daily View is a prototype service created to support older people who want to continue living independently at home but may experience memory issues or confusion about the day.
The screen displays essential daily information such as the day, date, time, upcoming appointments, visits, reminders and important messages. It is designed to be easy to read, reassuring and always available.
Daily View is intended to support both the person using it and the family members or carers who may otherwise answer repeated questions throughout the day, such as “What day is it?”, “What’s happening today?” or “When are you visiting?”
The project is currently seeking early testers in and around Bath.

Founder bio
Phil Martin is a Bath-based software founder who studied Maths and Computing at the University of Bath in the 1980s.
After more than 40 years working in large organisations, including in telecoms and Vodafone, Phil recently left corporate work to focus on developing his own products.
His current project, Daily View, is a simple daily reference screen designed to help older people with memory issues stay oriented at home and reduce repeated reassurance questions for families and carers.
